Data Visualization for Humanists In-Person
This workshop will introduce participants to the data visualization software, Tableau, through structured exercises with a prepared data set.
Participants will learn:
- Which charts and graphs are helpful for different types of questions
- Tableau basics
- How to interpret graphical representations of data for humanistic research
Please bring your laptop and download the free trial version of Tableau at https://www.tableau.com/products/trial. Feel free to bring your lunch as well. We will be meeting in the Digital Tool Shed, which is on the 2nd floor of the Library, Mudd side, just past the services desk and to the left. Questions?
