The 'Rithm Section: Algorithm & Live-Coding Practice Group

The 'Rithm Section: Algorithm & Live-Coding Practice Group In-Person

Event Description

Many tech companies incorporate live-coding as part of their job interview process. Often, these sessions are called "whiteboard interviews," as applicants are expected to solve coding problems on a whiteboard while explaining their thought process.

The 'Rithm Section is a weekly live-coding practice group for building the skills necessary for these kinds of interviews. We will be working through problems from LeetCode, CodeWars and other coding practice platforms. Our primary language will be Python, but we are open to working in other languages as well.

If you're looking into a career in the tech sector or other computer engineering-related fields, want to practice speaking in front of a group, or just like solving programming puzzles, come join us Friday mornings throughout the Spring 2026 semester from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. in the Yarrow classroom!
