Guided Exhibit Tour: The Life of Myrlie Evers-Williams In-Person
Participate in a guided tour of the A Voice for Change: The Life of Myrlie Evers-Williams exhibit and discover the multifaceted life of an inspiring civil rights activist, champion for justice, and trailblazing civic leader. This exhibit, spanning six tumultuous decades in American history, highlights significant chapters in the campaign for civil rights and voting rights. Viewed through the lens of the life of Myrlie Evers-Williams, widow of civil rights activist, Medgar Evers, history comes to life through a rich archival collection of photographs, correspondence, publications, and artifacts.
These guided tours do not require reservations and last roughly 40 minutes. Tours will depart promptly at 3 p.m. from the North Lobby Gallery every Friday from September 27 to November 1. For those who need additional accommodations or assistance, please contact specialcollections@claremont.edu.
