Event Description

Have you ever thought about learning to program in Python? Do you want to learn how to retrieve data from websites for your research projects?

Well, you are in luck! This fall we are hosting a two-part workshop on Python!

Wednesday, September 25 (Session 1): The basics of the Python programming language, from data types and variables to classes and methods.

Wednesday, October 2 (Session 2): A hands-on tutorial for building a basic web scraper and for manipulating and visualizing data.

Beginner programmers with absolutely no experience are welcome!
