Library Undergraduate Research Award Information Session In-Person
Interested in learning how you can turn your academic work into a CASH prize? Then join us for an information session about the Library Undergraduate Research Award (LURA)! This session will take place online via Zoom webinar (click here).
Each year, undergraduate students who demonstrate exemplary research and scholarship, including remarkable skill and creativity in the use of library and information resources, are recognized with a LURA. Prize-winning submissions convey a clear and compelling vision of the research journey and insights gained along the way.
By attending this session, you will learn more about the submission process and the following four submission elements which will be judged by an Evaluation Committee composed of librarians and library staff: a reflective essay, the research product, the associated bibliography and a faculty statement of support. You’ll also receive tips on what a successful submission looks like.
We look forward to seeing you at the information session and helping you begin your LURA submission journey – and best of luck to all who apply!
Questions? Contact the LURA committee at LibraryResearchAward@claremont.edu.
