Exhibit Open House for Photographic Memory of the West: The Work of Hubert A. Lowman In-Person
Join us for an exhibit viewing, talk and reception hosted by Special Collections & Archives. Sean Stanley, Digital and Print Collections Archivist, and Mr. Robert Lowman, son of Hubert A. Lowman, will provide a glimpse into the life and work of photographer Hubert Lowman and the Lowman Publishing Company. They will take us behind the scenes to share how the archive came to The Claremont Colleges Library and describe the process that makes it accessible for research. Visitors will be invited to view the exhibit and explore select materials on display in the Reading Room. Light refreshments will be served.
