CGU Workshop: Submitting Your Dissertation/Thesis to the ProQuest ETD Administrator Online
Upon committee approval of a dissertation or thesis and before a degree is awarded, some students will need to submit the final, approved dissertation or thesis to the Registrar’s Office for publication through the ProQuest Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETD) Administrator.
While this may seem like a daunting task, we are here to walk you through the process! Attend one of our workshops, which will cover:
- An overview of the submission process to the ProQuest ETD Administrator – check out what is required for your submission and publication.
- A discussion on whether you need to pay for extra copyright protection or Open Access – the short answer is no – and whether you should embargo your work.
- A rundown of what happens once you have submitted your work and when it gets added to Scholarship@Claremont, the Open Access repository of The Claremont Colleges.
- Any additional dissertation or thesis questions you might have!
The April 5th session will be held from 4 p.m. - 4:40 p.m. at the Library’s Digital Scholarship Collaboratory. The April 6th session (this page) will be held online from 5 p.m. - 5:50 p.m. Please be sure to register for the session you plan to attend!
