Join us as we work on open source mapping projects for areas recently affected by natural disasters to support humanitarian relief efforts. We will start by contributing to mapping areas of Puerto Rico devastated by Hurricane Maria along with volunteers at places like Columbia University and the University of Miami.

What to bring: Your laptop (if you have one; we will have a few to share), your patience, and your collaborative spirit (no experience necessary)!

If you’d like to get a head start, you can watch the tutorials and sign up for your OpenStreetMap account here.

For more information see the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team task list. Questions? Contact Jeanine Finn at (909) 607-7958 or jeanine_finn@cuc.claremont.edu.
