In this workshop participants will explore a variety of published and archival materials that offer opportunities to expand literary research beyond the contemporary edition of the literary text and its secondary scholarship.
This workshop is intended for all undergraduate English majors and prospective English majors. For graduating seniors planning to do graduate work in English, the workshop will introduce a range of research options that graduate programs may expect their students to be familiar with already. For rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors, the workshop will offer insights and opportunities that broaden awareness of research possibilities at Claremont.
Two identical sessions are offered. Choose one: Friday, April 21, 10:00-11:30 a.m., or Friday, April 28, 10:00-11:30 a.m. Each workshop is limited to 12 student participants. Register in advance to secure a place in the workshop.
