Prezi: The Anti-Powerpoint

Prezi is an increasingly popular cloud-based "Zooming Presentation Editor" that offers a conceptual and aesthetic shift from linear, slide-based presentation tools such as PowerPoint and Keynote. Prezi can be used to create highly effective graphical displays, but it can also induce major audience vertigo. Come to this session for:

  • A demonstration of the power (and pitfalls) of Prezi for web-based presentations
  • Hands-on interactive practice with the Prezi interface
  • Tips and tricks for creating and sharing excellent Prezis

Important: Please register for a FREE public or "Edu" Prezi account (which gives you more features) prior to attending the session.

The embedded prezi below is the result of a collaborative editing free-for-all by workshop participants.
It definitely does not represent great design principles, but is a good example of the many features/functions that Prezi has to offer.
